Can I book a hotel through CoxRoom?
No. CoxRoom is a free directory. Use the Call or WhatsApp buttons on a hotel listing to contact the hotel directly and arrange everything with them.
Does CoxRoom charge a booking fee?
No. We do not take bookings, payments or commissions, so there is nothing to pay us at any point.
Why do hotels not show nightly prices?
Rates change with the season, room type and group size, and we would rather not publish a number that is out of date. The hotel can give you an accurate rate when you contact them.
Do activity prices include everything?
Prices shown are an indicative starting point supplied by the provider. What is included varies between operators, so confirm the details with the provider before you go.
Can CoxRoom arrange a tour guide?
No. CoxRoom does not provide or endorse individual tour guides. If you want a guide, ask your hotel or the activity operator you are dealing with.
How do I get to Cox's Bazar?
There are daily flights from Dhaka and Chattogram to Cox's Bazar Airport, and overnight coaches from Dhaka that take 10 to 12 hours. See our How to Get There guide for details.
When is the best time to visit?
November to February is the most comfortable stretch, with cooler days and a calmer sea. It is also the busiest, so plan ahead for the December holidays.
Is the information on this site up to date?
We check listings and correct errors, but details change. Always confirm availability, prices and terms directly with the provider.
How do I get a listing added or corrected?
